Node.js ist in der Softwareentwicklung eine serverseitige Plattform zum Betrieb von Netzwerkanwendungen. Insbesondere lassen sich damit Webserver realisieren und bietet eine ressourcensparende Architektur, die eine besonders große Anzahl gleichzeitig bestehender Netzwerkverbindungen ermöglicht.
